Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zee Land (ranked 287 p4p, 474 weight class) and Kieran McArthur (ranked 51 p4p, 75 weight class). Land comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zee Land! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 32 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kieran McArthur! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McArthur lands with a thumping leg kick.
McArthur misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Land.
Land shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Land was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Land cracks McArthur with a big right hand but McArthur just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Land working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Land is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McArthur is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Land trying to control the action but McArthur is working from the bottom. McArthur takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Land wants to lay and pray for a moment but McArthur keeps working. Land working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. McArthur tries to improve position but can't. Land will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Land sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but McArthur is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
McArthur is trying to improve his position. McArthur manages to work his way to half guard, despite Land's best efforts. Land seems to be working for a kimura but McArthur defends the submission attempt. McArthur wants to control but Land is keeping busy and won't allow it. Land thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Land missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Land is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McArthur sees it coming and defends easily. We've been hearing that Land has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McArthur controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Land is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McArthur has managed to free his arm - good work. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McArthur can do anything to dispel that myth. Land is looking for a kimura but McArthur is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Land to get the leverage. Land is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Land throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. McArthur has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Land is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Land prevents McArthur from improving his position. Land seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. McArthur is looking for a sweep. Land is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Land not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Land throwing shots but McArthur is blocking nicely. Still in half guard, Land seems content to control. Land working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nice strikes from Land there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Land seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Land is working for a submission of some sort.
Land moves into full mount! McArthur won't be happy about that! Land unloading with bombs! McArthur really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Land. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McArthur tries to lock up and control but Land gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Land lands a big shot there that rocks McArthur but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Land landing strikes from the mount and McArthur is in trouble! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Zee Land dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. McArthur pushes Land away with a front kick. McArthur ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Land moves away. McArthur avoids the head kick by Land.
A little jabbing left from McArthur on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Nice body punch from Land. A slapping leg kick lands for Land.
McArthur throws a jab but it's blocked by Land. Land keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Land appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. McArthur throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. That kick from Land tenderised McArthur's leg. McArthur is trying to keep his angry face on. Land moves out of range of the strikes. Land is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McArthur can do to turn this around? Land is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Land really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Land lands with a thumping leg kick.
Land tries to land a front kick but McArthur steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Land pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A decent looking cross lands there for Land. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A jab from McArthur misses. McArthur swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Land. McArthur fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Land is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. McArthur takes a swing at Land's ribcage but misses. Zee Land seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Land looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jab by Land. Land closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McArthur did well to prevent Land getting side control. Land works his foot free and advances to mount. Land lands a heavy elbow. McArthur is bucking up trying to escape but Land cracks him with another couple of good strikes. McArthur tries to hold on but Land pushes him away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McArthur working to try and regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McArthur wants to control but Land is having none of it. Land is working for a guillotine from mount but McArthur frees his head quite easily.
Kieran McArthur has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Land is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, McArthur has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Land has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of McArthur's face.
Zee Land overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Land jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but McArthur manages to avoid the submission attempt. Land is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McArthur is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Land is working to tighten his grip on McArthur's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McArthur has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Land is really squeezing tight and eventually McArthur passes out! Land breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

A very excited looking Zee Land made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
