Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pedro Fuentes!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Virus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fuentes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fuentes pivots, looking for a leg kick but Virus is out of range and Fuentes settles back down.
Virus throws a chopping leg kick but Fuentes manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Virus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fuentes.
Virus tried to counter with a leg kick but Fuentes avoided it.
Fuentes misses with a hook
enabling Virus to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Pedro Fuentes has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Virus avoids the body shot from Fuentes.
Virus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fuentes lands a nice looking body shot.

and Virus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Fuentes waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Virus. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Virus to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Corona Virus has been cut.
Fuentes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Fuentes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Virus is keeping the position for now.
Virus seems keen to control Fuentes's posture.
Fuentes is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Virus has Fuentes pulled in close to control his posture.
Fuentes controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Virus pulls Fuentes in close to prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Virus can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fuentes controls the pace.
Oh Virus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Virus seems to have got his legs back now.
Fuentes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fuentes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fuentes sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Virus has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Fuentes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Virus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fuentes cracks Virus with a big right hand and Virus goes down!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fuentes's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Virus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fuentes.
Virus moves out of range of the leg kick from Fuentes.

Virus feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Fuentes throws a monster overhand right that drops Virus! Fuentes follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
