Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Boy (ranked 2427 p4p, 3359 weight class) and Buddah Joe (ranked 121 p4p, 160 weight class). Buddah Joe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Big Boy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buddah Joe! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy throws a hook to the side of Joe's head but Joe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Joe tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Joe takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Boy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Boy pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Joe feints the counter takedown. Joe looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Boy connects with a crisp jab. Joe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boy. Boy throws a nice looking combination but Joe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Joe is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe takes a shot right to the bread basket. Joe misses the shot to the body. Boy thows a left - swing and a miss! Boy throws a lazy right hand but Joe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. And Joe tries to counter it with a takedown but Boy pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe looking to score a takedown here. Boy is defending well but Joe drives through and ends up in Boy's guard. Boy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Joe. Boy wants to sweep but no luck. Boy is working hard here to advance position. Joe throwing strikes but missing. Boy working a defensive guard here.
Joe is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Joe forces his way into half guard. Joe thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Boy is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joe tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Boy is looking to get to half guard. Joe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Boy is looking to escape. Joe with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Joe with shots to the head and body - Boy looks very uncomfortable down there. Boy gets back to half guard. Boy is pressing down on Joe's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Boy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Joe on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boy controls Joe momentarily but Joe frees himself. Joe is stalling in the full guard. Boy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Joe has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Joe throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joe won't allow Boy to sweep him here. Boy working for submissions but it's allowed Joe to get to half guard.
Boy looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Boy is looking to control Joe's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Boy avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Joe trying to mount his opponent but Boy defends it. Joe slows the pace down in half guard. Joe seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Boy is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
