Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean LeBeau! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shaun Wallace! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wallace misses with a body shot.
Wallace connects with a nice looking jab.
LeBeau digs a good body shot into Wallace's ribs. The fighters circling - LeBeau throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nice body kick from LeBeau. LeBeau dips to his left and cracks Wallace with an uppercut! Wallace misses with a left hand and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Wallace misses with a leg kick. Wallace shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. LeBeau thinks about countering with a body kick. Wallace throws a one two combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! LeBeau needs to keep his hands up - Wallace had a free shot at his head there. LeBeau looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. LeBeau misses with a lunging right hand
and Wallace counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. LeBeau has managed to clinch.
Wallace lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. LeBeau lands a body shot in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wallace lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and LeBeau has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from LeBeau and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. LeBeau staying out of range there. LeBeau fires out a quick counter leg kick but Wallace just manages to avoid it. Wallace misses with an uppercut. Wallace thuds his right hand into LeBeau's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A big right from Wallace misses. LeBeau slips a jab from Wallace. LeBeau moves out of range of the body kick. Wallace throws a leg kick but LeBeau moved away. LeBeau tries to move into range but Wallace moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. LeBeau throws a hook to the side of Wallace's head but Wallace sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Wallace has LeBeau up against the cage in a clinch.

Shaun Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace moves into the clinch successfully.
Wallace breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wallace throws a looping overhand right but LeBeau ducks down to avoid it. It appears LeBeau was looking to counter with a kick there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wallace smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. LeBeau takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Wallace connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wallace wants to clinch. Wallace moves out of range as LeBeau strikes. LeBeau moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace lands a nice shot to the body. LeBeau misses with the head strike.
Wallace throws a head punch that misses. A head punch on the inside from LeBeau fails to land. Wallace tried to land a shot to the body but connects with LeBeau's elbow. Wallace swings wildly with an uppercut but LeBeau uses good head movement to avoid it. LeBeau blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wallace breaks from the clinch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Wallace. LeBeau does a little dance to reset his feet. Wallace lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Wallace throws an uppercut from half a mile away. LeBeau sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wallace throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A clash of legs there as LeBeau blocks the low kick. Wallace takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Wallace misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from LeBeau.
LeBeau cracks Wallace with an open hand slap. LeBeau uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wallace. As Wallace backs away, LeBeau returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Wallace swings for the body but LeBeau moves out of range.
Wallace throws out a loose jab but LeBeau uses good head movement to avoid it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Shaun Wallace dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. LeBeau throws an overhand right that lands on Wallace's shoulder, as Wallace tries to avoid the shot. LeBeau checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Wallace thows a left - swing and a miss! LeBeau feinted there with a counter leg kick. LeBeau moves out of range of the strikes. LeBeau was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Wallace scores with the left hand. LeBeau knows he should have avoided that one. LeBeau punishes Wallace's body with a nice straight punch. LeBeau lands a big right hand that sends Wallace crashing to the mat! LeBeau stays standing though and waves Wallace back to his feet!
Wallace is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Wallace throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wallace is still on wobbly legs! Can LeBeau finish him?

LeBeau follows up with another monster hook that separates Wallace from consciousness! Wallace falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! LeBeau stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
