Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jaxen Christ (ranked 734 p4p, 1172 weight class) and Won Yong Jung (ranked 64 p4p, 110 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaxen Christ! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Won Yong Jung! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christ throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jung connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jung takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Christ tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jung was well out of range. Poor timing from Christ. Christ needs to keep his hands up - Jung had a free shot at his head there. Jung misses with a low kick. Jung shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jung moves out of range of the strikes. Jung swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Jung displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Christ throws out the jab. Jung throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jung takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jung waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Christ. Christ went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Christ lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jung circles away quickly and effectively. Jung wants to counter with a clinch but Christ pushes him away. Christ looks to throw the jab but Jung is out of range. Jaxen Christ is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Christ cracks Jung with a good jab. Christ ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Jung jabbing away but nothing is landing. It looked like Christ wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jung is trying hard to land a takedown here. Christ sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Christ gets caught flat footed, as Jung shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jung with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Jung throws a strike but Christ rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Christ preventing the sweep. Christ would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Jung looking for a sweep. Not yet Jung, not yet. Christ wants to stand but Jung is controlling his posture from full guard. Jung is looking to stand up but Christ isn't so interested in that idea. Jung looking for a sweep. Not yet Jung, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Christ wants to stand and escape but instead Jung has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Jung stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Christ swivels though and keeps the full guard. Christ is trying to keep Jung in close.
Jung being controlled here momentarily. Jung throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Christ works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jung passes Christ's left leg - he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jung working over Christ with some ground and pound. Christ looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Christ trying to hold on to Jung's head to control him but Jung postures up.
Jung lands strikes from half guard. Nice strikes from Jung there. Jung is nestled in close to Christ, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jung is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Christ trying to hold on to Jung's head to control him but Jung postures up.

Jung throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Won Yong Jung will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Christ moves out of range of the strikes. Jung ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Jung jabs Christ to the body, keeping him at a distance. A jab from Christ misses. Jung with a jab. Jung has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jung shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Jung. Jung misses the jab.

A counter left hand to the body from Christ misses its target. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Jung moves out of range as Christ strikes. Jab by Jung. Jung needs to keep his hands up - Christ had a free shot at his head there. Christ misses with a right hand and Jung counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A big left from Jung misses. Jung fails with the takedown and Christ counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Won Yong Jung has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Christ throws a poor cross that misses
and Jung counters with a lovely shot to the body. Christ is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Jung shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Christ's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jung trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Christ is looking to stand up but Jung isn't so interested in that idea. Jung is looking to work some ground and pound but Christ has wrist control. Jung missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jung working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Christ is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Won Yong Jung has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jung postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Jung content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jung scoring with some ground and pound. Christ wants to stand up but Jung is controlling him. Jung with a flurry of punches that miss. Christ trying to control the position.
Jung wants to control from the top but Christ keeps moving. Christ looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Christ keeping moving, preventing Jung from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Christ throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jung counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Jung. Christ does a little dance to reset his feet. Christ shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jung throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Christ sees it coming and avoids it easily. A little feinted left hand from Christ on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Christ scores with a punch to the head. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Christ!
Christ looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Christ throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jung throws out a counter right but Christ avoids it with no problem. This has been an exciting period of action! Jung swings and misses with a shot to the body and Christ counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Won Yong Jung showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Won Yong Jung's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Jung takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Christ swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A countering left hand to the body from Jung misses. Jaxen Christ is winning the standup battle so far. Christ bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jung's head. Jung clinches up against the cage. Christ wants to break free but Jung has control.

Jung slips under a jab from Christ. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A slow jab from Jung misses its intended target. A telegraphed right hand from Jung misses the target. Christ was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jung is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Christ. It looked like Christ wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Christ throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jung! But no joy. Jung misses the shot to the body. It looked like Christ wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A slow jab from Jung misses its intended target. Christ throws an off balance right hand
and Jung counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Christ throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Jung to counter with a crisp jab. Jung misses with a lunging right hand
letting Christ counter with a right hand. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Christ wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Christ's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jung scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jung scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Christ doesn't seem bothered though. Jung throws an overhand right that drops Christ like a sack of potatoes! Jung dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Won Yong Jung! Won Yong Jung is the new featherweight champion! A relieved looking Won Yong Jung thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
