Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Distefano (ranked 1152 p4p, 1183 weight class) and Apollo Rocky (ranked 161 p4p, 165 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Distefano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Apollo Rocky!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocky dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Distefano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rocky moves away.
A jab lands there for Rocky.
Distefano moves out of range as Rocky strikes.
And Distefano counters with a quick kick to the body but Rocky blocks it.
Rocky throws a poor cross that misses
and Distefano makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rocky really felt that one!
Distefano connects with the punch.
Distefano uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rocky.
An attempted straight right counter from Distefano misses the target.
Rocky misses with a hook
and Distefano counters with a straight right hand.
Distefano slips under a jab from Rocky.
Distefano lands a big head kick that sends Rocky tumbling to the mat! Distefano takes a step backwards and waves Rocky back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rocky is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rocky throws a shot from downtown. Distefano moves away and avoids it.
Rocky takes a swing at Distefano's ribcage but misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Distefano misses the target.
Distefano goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Rocky missing with a left hand there. Distefano was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rocky looks to throw the jab but Distefano is out of range.
Distefano cracks Rocky with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Distefano has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rocky to stand back up!
Rocky is still on wobbly legs! Can Distefano finish him?
Rocky swings widly with a right hand
and Distefano counters with a big left hand that crumples Rocky! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eric Distefano!
Eric Distefano decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
