PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royal Halsti (ranked 193 p4p, 334 weight class) and Dylan Peterson (ranked 35 p4p, 51 weight class). Dylan Peterson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Royal Halsti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

That was a close second round but I would say that Royal Halsti will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Peterson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Peterson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
