Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azevedo Souza drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
San is trying to improve his position.

My spies in Tappelukerho inform me that Azevedo Souza has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

San's coaches at Sol União Elite Alliance of Fighters have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Azevedo Souza is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. San has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Azevedo Souza has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! San taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Azevedo Souza doesn't care though - he's delighted!
