Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Sanchez (ranked 1399 p4p, 1184 weight class) and Ted Meredith (ranked 225 p4p, 186 weight class). Sanchez's entrance music is Duele El Carazon. A fine choice. Meredith comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Skinny Boys - Skinny (They Can't Get Enough) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jesus Sanchez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ted Meredith's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 25 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesus Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Ted Meredith! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez doesn't succeed with the takedown and Meredith counters with a stiff right hand.
 It looks like Jesus Sanchez has been cut. Sanchez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sanchez blocks a jab. Meredith punishes Sanchez's body with a nice straight punch. Sanchez shoots and misses and Meredith counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Meredith but Meredith pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez dives in and grabs Meredith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Meredith pushes down on Sanchez's head and hops out. Meredith scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Meredith as he avoids it easily. Sanchez with a lazy takedown attempt
and Meredith counters with a crisp one two that drops Sanchez! Meredith thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sanchez to his feet! Sanchez is in big trouble!
 Sanchez is rocked! Ted Meredith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Meredith lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Sanchez is looking to close the distance but Meredith sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Sanchez crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Sanchez is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Ted Meredith! An out of breath Ted Meredith thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
