Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ranganathan Iyer (ranked 24854 p4p, 4386 weight class) and Chump Baylor (ranked 627 p4p, 541 weight class). Ranganathan Iyer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chump Baylor's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Ranganathan Iyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chump Baylor! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baylor circles away from the clinch attempt so Baylor counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Baylor is working Iyer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Iyer has a closed guard, preventing Baylor from standing up. Baylor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Baylor lands a couple of elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baylor is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Iyer is trying to control the position but Baylor postures up. Baylor not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baylor passes into half guard. Baylor is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Baylor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Baylor prevents Iyer from improving his position. Baylor controlling the pace. Iyer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Iyer looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Baylor lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iyer is looking to control Baylor's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Iyer avoid being mounted? Baylor with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Baylor stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baylor looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Baylor content to stall in guard here. Baylor's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Baylor postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Baylor not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baylor slips nicely into half guard. Baylor lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Baylor is figuring out what he wants to do next. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Chump Baylor dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Baylor drives through with a takedown into guard. Iyer trying to keep a closed guard but Baylor is proving a slippery customer.
Baylor content to stall in guard here. Baylor advances position into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baylor moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baylor in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Iyer is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Chump Baylor! After winning the bout, Chump Baylor thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
