Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Zhdanov (ranked 481 p4p, 1073 weight class) and Sheikh Mahmut (ranked 68 p4p, 133 weight class). Zhdanov comes to the cage accompanied by Малиновая Лада (Raspberry Lada) by Gayazov$ Brother$. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Mahmut feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Zhdanov sprawling to the canvas! Zhdanov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mahmut finish him?!
Zhdanov is rocked!
Roman Zhdanov's cut is getting worse.
Mahmut throws a front kick that sends Zhdanov stumbling back into the cage.
Zhdanov is breathing heavily.

The fighters circling - Mahmut throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Mahmut fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zhdanov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Mahmut is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zhdanov.
Mahmut cracks Zhdanov with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Zhdanov looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away can Mahmut finish him?
Oh Zhdanov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zhdanov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zhdanov seems to have got his legs back now.
Mahmut misses with an uppercut.
Zhdanov is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Mahmut throws out a loose jab but Zhdanov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zhdanov swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Mahmut steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zhdanov.
Zhdanov wants to stay close but Mahmut steps back to make room for something. Zhdanov seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Mahmut and Zhdanov drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sheikh Mahmut!
