Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wallace Cobb (ranked 397 p4p, 652 weight class) and Leonzar Kennedy (ranked 61 p4p, 90 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cobb might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Where's Wallace?. Wallace Cobb could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Leonzar Kennedy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 33 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wallace Cobb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leonzar Kennedy! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the body from Cobb misses and Kennedy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A combination from Cobb does no damage. Kennedy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Cobb tries to land a body kick and Kennedy counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cobb doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kennedy. Knees to the body from Kennedy.
Kennedy scores with a shot to the side of Cobb's head. Cobb wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cobb misses with a body punch.
Nice body punch from Cobb - that landed with a thud.
Kennedy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cobb's efforts to push away. Kennedy scores a nice knee to the body.
Cobb is breathing heavily. Cobb takes a shot to the head. Kennedy lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kennedy working Cobb over with knees to the body. Kennedy working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Kennedy unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cobb lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. A short uppercut from Kennedy. Kennedy lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Kennedy working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kennedy scores with an uppercut up the middle. Kennedy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Nice body punch from Kennedy. Kennedy softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Kennedy working Cobb over with knees to the body. Kennedy using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Kennedy lands with a short head shot on the inside. A left hand lands to the body for Kennedy.
Kennedy tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Cobb can't find room to land a body shot as Kennedy controls the action.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kennedy using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Cobb blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Cobb managing to block the knees to the body from Kennedy.
Kennedy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Kennedy lands a nice uppercut. Cobb jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kennedy walks away with a smile on his face. Cobb gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kennedy moves out of range of the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Cobb - that will leave a mark!
Cobb misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Kennedy counter with a right hand. Cobb has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cobb there as he acknowledges the shot. Cobb lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kennedy with a nice calf kick. Cobb staying out of range there. Kennedy darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Cobb swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Cobb throws a hook to the side of Kennedy's head but Kennedy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A telegraphed right hand from Kennedy misses the target. Cobb swings and misses with a shot to the body and Kennedy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kennedy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kennedy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kennedy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cobb. Cobb is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Kennedy scores with a decent looking hook. Kennedy moves out of range of the body kick. Kennedy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Cobb takes a swing at Kennedy's ribcage but misses. Kennedy lands a nice looking body shot.
Kennedy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Kennedy is looking to slow Cobb down with leg kicks. Kennedy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cobb's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cobb walks straight into a right hand from Kennedy - that's dropped him! Kennedy jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Cobb from any more punishment! Cobb complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
