The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Francis DeMontford and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mineiro moves in looking to clinch but Tartakov pushes him off.
Mineiro missing with a left hand there. Tartakov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
An attempted straight right counter from Tartakov misses the target.

Tartakov moves into the clinch.

Mineiro manages to pull guard.
Mineiro has control of Tartakov's left arm, preventing Tartakov from doing any damage.

Mineiro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tartakov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tartakov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mineiro is looking for a triangle but Tartakov pushes his legs off easily.

Tartakov is sitting in close to Mineiro's body. Mineiro has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tartakov is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tartakov is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mineiro.
