Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Sparr (ranked 373 p4p, 1816 weight class) and Marwin Mueller (ranked 56 p4p, 212 weight class). Sparr's entrance music is OH NO!. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger Sparr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marwin Mueller!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparr throws a jab but it's blocked by Mueller.
Mueller looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Sparr misses with a straight left.
Sparr throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mueller! But no joy.
Sparr throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mueller counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sparr bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mueller's head backwards.
Sparr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mueller has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Sparr seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Mueller can turn it around.

Mueller wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Sparr is now in half guard.

Sparr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close round but I would say that Roger Sparr will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sparr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
