Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donner Keil (ranked 482 p4p, 790 weight class) and Shape Shifter (ranked 75 p4p, 120 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Donner Keil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Keil fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shifter is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Shifter gets a double leg takedown into Keil's guard.

Shifter drops back looking for a leg! Keil is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Keil manages to kick Shifter off! Shifter jumps back into Keil's guard.

Keil pushes Shifter off and scrambles back to his feet.
Shifter has his takedown stuffed
and Keil counters with a straight right hand.
Nice sprawl there from Keil as Shifter shoots in.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shifter closes the distance and clinches up with Keil, looking for a takedown. Shifter pushes Keil against the cage but Keil circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Keil thinks about countering with a head kick.
Donner Keil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shape Shifter.
Keil thows a leg kick but Shifter checks it

and Shifter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Keil won't be happy with that.

Keil explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Shifter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Keil misses with a left hand

and Shifter counters with a takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Keil wants to get back to his feet.
Keil is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Heavy Metal that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Shifter throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shifter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Keil is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Shifter prevents Keil from escaping the position.
Keil trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Shifter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Keil, who protects the arm well.
Keil wants to get back to his feet but Shifter drags him back down.

Shifter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Keil is trying to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shifter in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Keil is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
