Sampson comes to the cage accompanied by Sunshine (ft. Anthony Hamilton) - Twista . Couceiro is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Welcome to my Nightmare- Alice Cooper. Xandao Couceiro acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couceiro fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sampson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Couceiro doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sampson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Couceiro! Sampson lets Couceiro back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Couceiro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sampson but Sampson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
