Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kjetil Olsen (ranked 1 p4p, 3 weight class) and Kilo Maluga (ranked 1 p4p, 2 weight class). Olsen comes to the cage accompanied by Tubthumping by Chumbawamba. Maluga has chosen JUNGLE as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kjetil Olsen!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 57 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kilo Maluga!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A punch combination from Olsen misses.
Olsen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And Maluga responds with a good body kick, but Olsen manages to step out the way in time.
Maluga jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Olsen throws a lazy right hand but Maluga sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A little jabbing left from Maluga on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Maluga counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Kjetil Olsen has been cut.

A little jabbing left from Maluga on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Olsen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Maluga stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Olsen throws a half hearted mid kick.
Maluga is looking for the big counter here.
Maluga has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Olsen throws a jab but it's blocked by Maluga.
And Maluga responds with a good body kick, but Olsen manages to step out the way in time.
Olsen throws a right and a left that both miss.

Olsen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maluga sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Olsen throws a sloppy head kick and Maluga moves out of range easily.
Olsen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Maluga fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Maluga uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Olsen.
Maluga steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Maluga cracks Olsen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Maluga tries a low kick but Olsen avoids it.
It looked like Olsen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Maluga.
Olsen cracks a nice hook into Maluga's ribs.
Maluga avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Olsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maluga moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A nice side step and Maluga releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Maluga tries to land a front kick but Olsen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Olsen went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Maluga throws an off balance right hand
and Olsen counters with a left to the body.
Olsen scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Kilo Maluga has been cut.

and Olsen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Olsen cracks Maluga with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Olsen lands a nice looking body kick.
Nice defenses there by Maluga.

letting Maluga counter with a right hand.
Olsen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Maluga steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Olsen. That one must have hurt.
Maluga misses with an uppercut
and Olsen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Olsen throws a body shot but no joy.
Maluga takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Maluga is breathing heavily.

Olsen catches Maluga with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That has opened up Kilo Maluga's cut even more.
Olsen closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Maluga! Olsen dives in looking to finish! Maluga is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kjetil Olsen!

Kjetil Olsen decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
In defeat, Kilo Maluga stepped up to the mic, saying 'My name is Kilo. Born to bleed.'.
