The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Battleby looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Battleby throws a quick inside leg kick.
Christoph thows a left - swing and a miss!
Battleby fires out a quick counter leg kick but Christoph just manages to avoid it.
Battleby dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Christoph scores with a sloppy right hand. Battleby should have avoided that one.

and Christoph connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Battleby displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Christoph throws out the jab.
Battleby seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Cynical Christoph seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Battleby makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Christoph defending well as Battleby loads up on a big left hand.
Christoph lands a big right hand that sends Battleby crashing to the mat! Christoph stays standing though and waves Battleby back to his feet!
Battleby is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Christoph lands a jab to Battleby's midsection.

Christoph ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Battleby's jaw. Battleby's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Christoph does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
