Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bon Adrien De Moncey (ranked 2233 p4p, 2648 weight class) and Samson Buddha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 35 - 24 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bon Adrien De Moncey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samson Buddha! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Moncey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Buddha swivels and escapes. De Moncey shoots for a takedown but Buddha saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Buddha connects with a crisp jab. De Moncey shoots in but no luck this time. Buddha looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bon Adrien De Moncey. That's going to take a lot out of him. De Moncey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and De Moncey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Horrible takedown attempt by De Moncey or perhaps it was just good defense by Buddha, which made it look bad. Buddha leaves De Moncey with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An inside leg kick lands from Buddha. De Moncey shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Buddha sprawls well. Buddha wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. De Moncey gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Moncey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Buddha counters with a stiff right hand. De Moncey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Buddha manages to get back to half guard. De Moncey is working for a kimura but Buddha is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. De Moncey is looking for a kimura but Buddha is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for De Moncey to get the leverage. De Moncey wants to work for an arm triangle but Buddha is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Buddha is trying to control but can't.
Buddha is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Buddha is staying active underneath De Moncey, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buddha is pressing down on De Moncey's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Moncey stands and throws Buddha's legs to the side, diving into side control. De Moncey tries to advance to mount but Buddha denies him. Buddha is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on De Moncey's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Buddha is not content to let De Moncey control the position. Buddha wants to control but De Moncey is keeping busy and won't allow it. De Moncey is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Buddha defends it well. De Moncey is looking to take a break and control but Buddha is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Moncey is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Buddha is just riding it out for now. De Moncey eventually gives up the hold. Buddha makes his way to full guard, as De Moncey worked for a kimura.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. De Moncey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Buddha's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Samson Buddha dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. De Moncey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Buddha counters with a nice uppercut. De Moncey dives in for a single leg takedown but Buddha sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. De Moncey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Buddha just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bon Adrien De Moncey. That's going to take a lot out of him. A quick uppercut on the inside from Buddha. Buddha has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Buddha scores with a shoulder strike. Buddha swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Oh De Moncey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! De Moncey blocks a punch to the side of the head.
De Moncey seems to have got his legs back now. Buddha tries a body shot but De Moncey blocks it.

De Moncey is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Buddha to keep the fight standing. Buddha goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
De Moncey blocks the elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buddha misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from De Moncey.
De Moncey jumps guard but Buddha turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. De Moncey tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Buddha tried to land a shot to the body but connects with De Moncey's elbow. Buddha swings wildly with an uppercut but De Moncey uses good head movement to avoid it. Buddha is working De Moncey over against the cage. De Moncey blocks a punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Moncey fails to pull guard.
De Moncey blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Buddha lands a shot to the body. Buddha scores with an uppercut up the middle. Buddha has a couple of punches blocked by De Moncey.
De Moncey has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Buddha uses from the top position. De Moncey looking for a sweep. Not yet De Moncey, not yet. Buddha slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Moncey looking for subs off his back but Buddha has passed one foot through into half guard.
De Moncey looking for submissions off his back. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! De Moncey looking for submissions off his back. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Samson Buddha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! De Moncey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Buddha throws a combination but it was largely blocked by De Moncey. Buddha displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from De Moncey. Buddha feints a counter leg kick. De Moncey takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. De Moncey looks for a takedown but Buddha sprawls well. It seemed like Buddha was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bon Adrien De Moncey. That's going to take a lot out of him. De Moncey fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Moncey shoots and misses and Buddha counters with a huge left! De Moncey is in big trouble! He's backing up but Buddha isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save De Moncey from any more damage. A dominating finish by Buddha!
