Initially pursuing a career as a K-1 kickboxer, Buddha’s MMA career took a decisive turn during a fateful trip to Thailand, where he crossed paths with the legendary grappler Judas Priest. During a hangover sparring session, Priest recognized Buddha’s potential and convinced him to fully embrace grappling, and despite already being in his late 20s, Buddha shifted his focus entirely to mastering no-gi grappling. Under Priest´s tutelage, Buddha has been tearing up the MMA scene ever since. |
