Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tetsuo Shima (ranked 1356 p4p, 809 weight class) and Mehdi Kanaani (ranked 176 p4p, 97 weight class). Shima comes to the cage accompanied by The HU - Yuve Yuve Yu. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kanaani's choice of entrance music: Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg - Nuthin' But A G Thang. Mehdi Kanaani has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mehdi Kanaani!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shima throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kanaani gets tackled into the cage by Shima. Shima maintains the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
