The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanorden scores with a body shot.
Garibaldi Jr fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vanorden steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Vanorden connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Garibaldi Jr's hands.

It looks like Michael Garibaldi Jr has been cut.
Vanorden punishes Garibaldi Jr's body with a nice straight punch.
Garibaldi Jr fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vanorden.
Garibaldi Jr with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vanorden to score with a decent uppercut.
Ty Vanorden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vanorden lands with an overhand left.

Vanorden lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Garibaldi Jr up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Vanorden from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Garibaldi Jr's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
