Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Blank (ranked 53 p4p, 99 weight class) and John Boy Walton (ranked 7 p4p, 16 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Boy Walton!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walton staying out of range there.
Walton appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Walton throws a hook but Blank avoids it easily.
Blank misses with a body shot.
Walton wants to counter with a clinch but Blank pushes him away.
Blank connects with a body shot that sends Walton's belly button to the back.
Blank digs a good body shot into Walton's ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blank misses with a looping left.
Walton misses with a hook.
Blank throws a right hand that misses
and Walton counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Blank is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
A slow jab from Blank misses its intended target.
Blank really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Walton lands a nice hook to Blank's body. Blank takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Blank counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like John Boy Walton has been cut.
Blank scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Walton throws a lazy uppercut
and Blank counters with a crisp right hand that drops Walton! Blank lets Walton back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Blank misses with a straight left.
Blank throws a jab but it's blocked by Walton.
Blank sets himself, and Walton steps forward looking for the clinch! Blank avoids it this time.
Walton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blank drops Walton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Walton looks back up at him and smiles so Blank waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Walton is rocked!
Walton swings away with a body shot that misses
and Blank counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Billy Blank!
A relieved looking Billy Blank thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
