Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Li Xiaodong (ranked 65 p4p, 57 weight class) and Juodasis Vaiduoklis (ranked 8 p4p, 7 weight class). Li Xiaodong looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaiduoklis lands a nice shot to the body.

Xiaodong was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Vaiduoklis throws the left hand but Xiaodong avoids the punch easily.

Xiaodong fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vaiduoklis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Xiaodong throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vaiduoklis is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Xiaodong had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Vaiduoklis cracks Xiaodong with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fighters circle momentarily. Vaiduoklis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Xiaodong misses with an uppercut.
Oh Xiaodong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Xiaodong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vaiduoklis throws out the jab.

Vaiduoklis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vaiduoklis cracks Xiaodong on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Xiaodong falls backwards against the cage. Vaiduoklis follows up with more strikes that drop Xiaodong to his knees. Vaiduoklis keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Xiaodong! This one is all over!

Juodasis Vaiduoklis took some time post fight to say the following; 'Hello, Combate. My close friend and mentor, Arthur Morgan, was Combate's third middleweight champion. It has been a long journey back to the top for Gunderson promotions. I want to dedicate this win to Arthur, Slick and several, but not all, of my illegitimate children. I will be fighting champion.'.
