Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Cubbedge (ranked 3828 p4p, 3002 weight class) and Rufus Rutger (ranked 513 p4p, 436 weight class). Rutger is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wardance. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rufus Rutger was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rufus Rutger!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutger shoots and misses
and Cubbedge connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rutger throws a right hand that misses
and Rutger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cubbedge misses with a shot to the body
and Rutger counters with a right hand to the body.
Rutger thuds a left hand into Cubbedge 's body.
Rutger loads up on a big right hand but Cubbedge slips the punch.
Rutger connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Billy Cubbedge has been cut.
Rutger throws an overhand right that lands on Cubbedge 's shoulder, as Cubbedge tries to avoid the shot.
Rutger throws a hook to the side of Cubbedge 's head but Cubbedge sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cubbedge ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Rutger looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rutger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cubbedge .
Cubbedge jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cubbedge misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rutger.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Cubbedge . Rutger does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cubbedge swings away with a body shot that misses
and Rutger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cubbedge throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rutger lands with a straight right. Cubbedge didn't see that one coming.
Rutger buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rutger moves out of range as Cubbedge strikes.
A slow jab from Rutger misses its intended target.
Cubbedge throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rutger is pawing at Cubbedge , trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Cubbedge 's nose. Cubbedge is badly hurt! Rutger pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Cubbedge tries desperately to hold on but Rutger is relentless in his assault! As Cubbedge receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Rutger away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rufus Rutger!
An out of breath Rufus Rutger thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
