The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferkingstad keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ferkingstad swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Lavigne tries to land a body kick
and Ferkingstad counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lavigne scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ferkingstad in his tracks.
Lavigne throws a jab but it's blocked by Ferkingstad.
Lavigne looks to land a combination but Ferkingstad avoids it well.
Lavigne misses with a straight left.
Ferkingstad moves away from the strike by Lavigne.
Ferkingstad lands with a nice body punch.
Lavigne pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lavigne tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ferkingstad counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Gervais Lavigne has been cut.
A head kick by Lavigne misses
and Ferkingstad scores with a counter punch that sends Lavigne to the canvas! Ferkingstad smells blood - he's punishing Lavigne with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Lavigne has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
