Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Blank (ranked 176 p4p, 218 weight class) and John Boy Walton (ranked 25 p4p, 30 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Blank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Boy Walton!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walton tries to clinch up.
Walton throws a leg kick that misses.
Walton throws a head kick but Blank moves out of range.
A counter left hand to the body from Blank misses its target.
Blank shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Walton gets back to full guard.
Blank will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like John Boy Walton has been cut.
Walton working a defensive guard but Blank manages to pass into side control anyway.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Blank works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Blank looks up at the clock and then as Walton takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Blank smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Walton is rocked!
Blank lands a big left to the face of Walton, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Blank and another - Walton is out! Blank stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Billy Blank!
A relieved looking Billy Blank thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
