Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Rivera (ranked 110 p4p, 335 weight class) and Corona Virus (ranked 17 p4p, 45 weight class). Rivera comes to the cage accompanied by BAD COMPANY. Corona Virus will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Malcolm Rivera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Corona Virus! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Virus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rivera sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rivera fires out a quick counter leg kick but Virus just manages to avoid it. Virus lands with a right hand. Virus moves out of range of the body kick from Rivera.
Good leg kick by Virus. Rivera throws a leg kick and Virus counters with a right hand that sends Rivera tumbling to the canvas! Can Virus finish him? He dives into Rivera's guard looking to do just that!
It looks like Malcolm Rivera has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Virus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Virus is looking to stand up but Rivera won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Virus controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Rivera might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rivera tries to land a sweep but no joy. Virus stays in close to Rivera's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Virus won't allow Rivera to sweep him here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Virus throws a wild hook but Rivera just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Virus gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Rivera raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Malcolm Rivera! Our winner, Malcolm Rivera, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
