Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lasse Savisto!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Kowalski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Savisto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kowalski is one step ahead there.

Savisto is rocked!
Savisto has control of Kowalski's left arm, preventing Kowalski from doing any damage.
Savisto is still in real trouble! Can Kowalski finish him?

Savisto seems to have recovered his senses.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Savisto is on top in guard.

Savisto wants to pass the guard but Kowalski is keeping the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kowalski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Savisto's guard.

Kowalski is in close to Savisto's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Kowalski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Savisto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kowalski has managed to get both his arms back between Savisto's legs - danger averted.

Savisto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A very excited looking Peter Kowalski rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
