Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jingky Bacolod (ranked 22318 p4p, 2761 weight class) and Bruno Neves (ranked 252 p4p, 139 weight class). Bacolod comes to the cage accompanied by Havana. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jingky Bacolod!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruno Neves!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacolod doesn't manage to clinch there - Neves circles away.
Bacolod shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Neves defends it nicely.
Neves is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bacolod.
Neves swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Bacolod closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bacolod's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Neves chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bacolod can pounce on him.

Bacolod misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bacolod shoots for a double leg takedown but Neves sprawls well. He's pushed Bacolod's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It seemed like Neves was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jingky Bacolod. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Neves decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neves lands strikes from half guard.
Bacolod is looking to improve his position.
Neves content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Bacolod is looking for a sweep. Neves is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Neves seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neves has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Neves avoids the attempt from Bacolod to control.
Bacolod is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Neves is landing with some decent strikes but Bacolod is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Bacolod wants to hold on but Neves pushes him away.
Neves lands a heavy elbow.
Neves looking to finish Bacolod with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bacolod!
Bacolod wants to control but Neves is having none of it.

Neves landing strikes, looking to finish!

It looks like Jingky Bacolod has been cut.
Bacolod wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Neves lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Neves goes for an armbar but Bacolod turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bacolod.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Neves looking to control.

Bacolod gets to his feet - Neves follows without any prompting.
Bacolod with a lazy takedown attempt
and Neves counters with a lovely shot to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bacolod misses with a takedown attempt - Neves sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bacolod closes the distance but Neves moves to the side
and Neves counters with a nice uppercut.
Bacolod looks to score with a jab to the body but Neves is just out of range.
Bacolod throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Neves.

It looks like Bruno Neves has been cut.
Jingky Bacolod is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bacolod.
Neves has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Neves stuffs the takedown.
