The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khrapov Jr throws a right and a left that Polus avoids nicely.
Vasily Khrapov Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khrapov Jr rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Polus counters with a nice uppercut.
Polus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Khrapov Jr throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Polus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Khrapov Jr shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Khrapov Jr is looking to take a break and control but Polus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
