Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Klaas Jan Tijhoff (ranked 2495 p4p, 3619 weight class) and Bastian Lykaios (ranked 316 p4p, 412 weight class). Bastian Lykaios will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bastian Lykaios!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lykaios throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tijhoff throws a big shot that misses.
Lykaios unleashes a big counter combination but Tijhoff bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Lykaios lands a really nice looking cross but Tijhoff seems unphased.
Lykaios works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tijhoff seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Lykaios pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tijhoff back to the cage. Lykaios follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Lykaios is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tijhoff.
Tijhoff throws a right hand that misses
and Lykaios counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lykaios throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tijhoff counters with a single leg into guard. Lykaios didn't expect that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lykaios can't keep his opponent in guard - Tijhoff advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Lykaios pushes Tijhoff off, looking to escape but Tijhoff dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Lykaios is forced to tap! The fight is over!
