Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patrice Devereaux (ranked 1430 p4p, 2416 weight class) and Hasbulla Magomedov (ranked 97 p4p, 151 weight class). Magomedov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Roy Jones Jr - Can't be Touched. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devereaux clinches.

Magomedov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Devereaux is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Magomedov.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Devereaux enables Magomedov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Devereaux manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Magomedov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Devereaux is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Magomedov has his hands clasped together but Devereaux extends and breaks Magomedov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Devereaux.
