PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ali Dixon (ranked 1069 p4p, 1476 weight class) and Horacio Sadaval (ranked 145 p4p, 208 weight class). Sadaval has chosen Prohibido Olvidar as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ali Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Horacio Sadaval!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon misses with a wild combination.
Ali Dixon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dixon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dixon wants it to stay on the feet.
A little feinted left hand from Dixon on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Dixon looks to score with a jab to the body but Sadaval is just out of range.
Sadaval shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dixon defends it nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sadaval lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dixon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sadaval after a bit of a struggle.

Sadaval has Dixon pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sadaval pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dixon tumbling to the mat - Sadaval dives into Dixon's guard.

Dixon manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
