Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Medium Guy (ranked 24999 p4p, 24644 weight class) and Medium Mann (ranked 612 p4p, 655 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy lands a nice hook to Mann's body. Mann takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mann doesn't manage to clinch there - Guy circles away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mann.
Guy throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Guy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mann looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Guy sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Horrible takedown attempt by Mann or perhaps it was just good defense by Guy, which made it look bad.

Mann throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Guy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mann is in Guy's guard.

Guy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mann can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well Mann has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
