Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Draconis (ranked 2567 p4p, 2507 weight class) and Joey Cruz (ranked 312 p4p, 308 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Draconis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joey Cruz!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Draconis manages to avoid it.
Draconis changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Cruz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cruz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Draconis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Draconis appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Cruz stalks Draconis and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Draconis's face. Draconis staggers backwards, shaken.
Cruz throws a hook but Draconis blocks it.
A telegraphed right hand from Cruz misses the target.
Draconis feinted with a counter takedown.
Cruz sizes up Draconis with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Cruz swings for the body but Draconis moves out of range.
Cruz throws a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cruz throws a hook to the side of Draconis's head but Draconis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Draconis half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Cruz swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Draconis counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Draconis lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Draconis content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Draconis cracks Cruz with a solid left hand.

Cruz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Draconis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Draconis makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Cruz wants to sweep but no luck.
Draconis landing with the ground and pound.
Draconis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cruz's head.
Draconis is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Draconis chips away with some ground and pound.
Draconis postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Draconis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Draconis postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Cruz covers up, he's hurt! Draconis keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Draconis and the ref steps in to end the fight! Draconis can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
