Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Rivers (ranked 4034 p4p, 4184 weight class) and Jason Aldean (ranked 478 p4p, 494 weight class). Rivers comes to the cage accompanied by Gojira - Sphinx. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Aldean!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldean chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Aldean works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rivers definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Aldean fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rivers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Aldean does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Aldean takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rivers has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rivers and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rivers sends Aldean crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rivers is motioning to the referee to let Aldean up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Jason Aldean's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rivers lands a big right hand that sends Aldean crashing to the mat! Rivers stays standing though and waves Aldean back to his feet!
Aldean is still on wobbly legs! Can Rivers finish him?
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jason Aldean's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A less than humble Sean Rivers misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
