The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amir throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Amir thuds a left hand into Lehto's body.
Amir on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Ali Amir has been cut.
Lehto throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Amir has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Amir throws a front kick aimed at Lehto's knee but Lehto avoids it well.
A big left from Amir misses.
Lehto looks to land a combination. Amir sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Charon Lehto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lehto will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Amir throws out a counter right but Lehto avoids it with no problem.

Lehto looks to score with a jab to the body but Amir is just out of range.

The fighters circling - Amir throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Amir stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lehto.

Amir throws a body kick that misses.
It looked like Lehto was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Amir.
Lehto throws out a powerful jab.
Amir needs to keep his hands up - Lehto had a free shot at his head there.
Lehto ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Amir uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lehto.
Amir takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lehto looks to land a combination but Amir avoids it well.

Lehto throws a body punch but Amir moves out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Amir doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Amir walks forward, straight into a front kick from Lehto.

Lehto lands a nice looking body shot.
Amir takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lehto has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Lehto lands a really nice looking cross but Amir seems unphased.
Amir sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Lehto connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

That has opened up Ali Amir's cut even more.
Lehto misses the shot to the body.
Amir walks into a jab.

Lehto lands a left and a right that send Amir crashing to the mat, dazed. Lehto thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Amir is rocked!
Lehto throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lehto throws a leg kick which misses Amir's front leg but catches the back leg as Amir tries to avoid it.

A low kick lands for Amir.
Lehto throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Amir! But no joy.
Lehto avoids the body shot from Amir.
And Lehto counters with a quick kick to the body but Amir blocks it.
Amir pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Amir takes a swing at Lehto's ribcage but misses.
Amir goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lehto is looking to wear down Amir with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Lehto lands a leg kick that knocks Amir off balance momentarily.

Lehto lands a big head kick that sends Amir tumbling to the mat! Lehto takes a step backwards and waves Amir back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Amir is still on wobbly legs! Can Lehto finish him?

The cut above Ali Amir's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lehto cracks Amir with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
