Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gordon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rumsfeld Shart!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shart throws a lazy head kick

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Shart looking for a sweep. Not yet Shart, not yet.

Shart throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Shart keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.

Jones drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Shart dives on top into guard.

Jones seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Shart working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones has his foot on Shart's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shart works his way back into a safe position though.

Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Shart wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

Jones throws his legs up looking for a submission but Shart uses it to pass to side control.

Shart looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Shart tries for a kimura but Jones is defending well.

Shart stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Shart looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jones!
Jones can't do much from the bottom here.
Jones is looking to regain half guard here but Shart keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones looks to move to half guard but instead Shart has passed into mount! Damn!
Shart can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jones is looking to escape.

Jones tries to hold on but Shart postures up.
Shart has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jones's face.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones is wriggling around trying to escape.
Shart raining down hammerfists from mount.

Jones wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Jones rolls, trying to escape but Shart keeps control of the position.

Shart tightening his grip on Jones, looking for the choke.
I really don't envy Jones right now.
Shart just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Shart controlling well, preventing Jones from escaping the position.
Jones is working hard here to advance position.

Shart is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Jones with him. Jones is trying to defend but Shart has an arm under the chin now! Jones grimaces and is forced to tap out!
