Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rimtas Kentas (ranked 259 p4p, 575 weight class) and Ziggy Stardust (ranked 43 p4p, 89 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Stardust's choice of entrance music: Starman. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rimtas Kentas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ziggy Stardust! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stardust takes a shot right to the bread basket. Stardust looks to land a right hand but Kentas moved out of range. Kentas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kentas is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Good work by Kentas as he checks the leg kick. Stardust throws a body shot but no joy. Kentas misses with a body shot.

Stardust fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kentas. Kentas cracks Stardust with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. A looping hook to the body misses from Kentas. Stardust does a little dance to reset his feet. Kentas scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kentas checks the leg kick. Stardust has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Kentas misses the jab. Kentas throws a body punch but Stardust moves out of range. Kentas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stardust looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Kentas misses with a right hand and Stardust counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Stardust lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Kentas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kentas takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kentas checks a leg kick. A shot to the liver by Kentas. Beautiful body shot. Stardust clobbers Kentas with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Stardust might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kentas has got the better of the exchanges. Stardust tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kentas swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A bone on bone clash there as Kentas blocks the leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stardust takes a shot to the head. Stardust blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

And that's the end of the fight! Rimtas Kentas showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kentas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
