Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kova Luu (ranked 1842 p4p, 1623 weight class) and Fred Young (ranked 73 p4p, 84 weight class). Young has chosen Real Ganja Man as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young misses the jab.

Luu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Young.
A thudding body kick lands there by Luu!
Young has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Luu fires out a quick counter leg kick but Young just manages to avoid it.

Young fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Luu, pushing him back against the cage.

It looks like Fred Young has been cut.
Young misses with some punches.

Luu lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Young throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Young blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Young tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Oh Luu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Young pushes Luu against the cage. Young is working some dirty boxing. Young pushes off with a quick right hook! Luu goes down! Luu tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Young moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
