Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rasmus Karhu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tomomi Tsuruta!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsuruta lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Karhu lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Tomomi Tsuruta has been cut.
Tsuruta with a lazy takedown attempt
and Karhu counters with a right hand to the body.
Karhu drops Tsuruta with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Tsuruta! Karhu dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rasmus Karhu!
