Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Borgia (ranked 849 p4p, 384 weight class) and Gen Tenryu (ranked 125 p4p, 52 weight class). Tenryu has chosen piri & tommy - on & on as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Borgia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gen Tenryu!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Tenryu misses.
Tenryu slips under a jab from Borgia.
Borgia has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tenryu is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

and Tenryu counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It seemed like Tenryu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Borgia goes for a double leg but Tenryu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tenryu continues to drive forward.

Alexander Borgia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Tenryu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Tenryu counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Borgia is breathing heavily.
Borgia throws the left hand but Tenryu avoids the punch easily.
Tenryu cracks Borgia with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tenryu has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Borgia to stand back up!
Borgia is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tenryu wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tenryu throws a monster overhand right that drops Borgia! Tenryu follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Gen Tenryu decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
