Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Turner Meeks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Akil Paschal!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paschal staying out of range there.
Paschal feints the counter takedown.
Paschal shoots for a double leg takedown but Meeks sprawls well. He's pushed Paschal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Akil Paschal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paschal closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Akil Paschal has been cut.
Paschal shoots in for a takedown but Meeks shows good takedown defense.
It looked like Meeks wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Turner Meeks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akil Paschal.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Paschal is defended easily by Meeks.
Paschal shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Meeks is trying to defend but Paschal finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Meeks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Paschal on the ground.

Paschal prevents Meeks from improving his position.

Meeks moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Paschal is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Meeks bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Paschal's guard.
Meeks wants to stand but Paschal is controlling his posture from full guard.

Paschal looking to hit a scissor sweep but Meeks is one step ahead there.
Paschal looking for a guillotine here but Meeks defends easily.
Paschal is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Meeks wants to stand but Paschal is controlling his posture from full guard.
Meeks stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Paschal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Meeks lands a big right hand that sends Paschal crashing to the mat! Meeks stays standing though and waves Paschal back to his feet!
Paschal takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Paschal is rocked!
Meeks weaves into range and cracks Paschal right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Paschal goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Meeks is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Turner Meeks!
As Turner Meeks got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Shit. On. My. Dick. '.
