Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liam George (ranked 3516 p4p, 1545 weight class) and Samson Buddha (ranked 430 p4p, 212 weight class). Liam George is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Liam George! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samson Buddha! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Skip Squint and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Buddha finds it's target. Buddha throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Buddha finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Buddha slaps away a takedown attempt from George, before circling back to the center of the mat. Buddha misses with a hook. George ducked under it nicely. Buddha throws the kick towards the body but George avoids it. We've been hearing reports that George has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Buddha jabs George right on the nose. George blinks but takes it well. Buddha checks the leg kick nicely there.
A solid leg kick lands there for George.
Buddha misses with a right hand and George cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. George moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Buddha with a jab. Samson Buddha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Buddha swings away with a leg kick that misses. George will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. This has been an exciting period of action! Buddha shoots and misses and George counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Buddha thinking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buddha pushing out the jab but it's not landing. George misses with a hook. Buddha ducked under it nicely. George lands a nice leg kick that just misses Buddha's sensitive parts. George takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. George feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. George connects with a couple of short punches. Buddha is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and George defends well. George throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Buddha works some decent striking defense from the bottom. George throws a sloppy strike and Buddha has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! George is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Buddha!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Samson Buddha! A relieved looking Samson Buddha thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
