Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Pendragon (ranked 372 p4p, 651 weight class) and Dill Nickle (ranked 35 p4p, 56 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendragon keeps the fight on the outside.

It looks like Dill Nickle has been cut.
Nickle slips under a jab.
Nickle feints the counter takedown.

Nickle moves into the clinch successfully.

Nickle throws an elbow that misses. Pendragon uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nickle's guard. Nice move by Pendragon!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nickle doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Nickle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Pendragon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nickle was well out of range. Poor timing from Pendragon.

Nickle chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pendragon can pounce on him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nickle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pendragon was covering up waiting for the punch and Nickle finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Dill Nickle has got the better of the ground game so far.
Nickle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pendragon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Pendragon throws a hook to the side of Nickle's head but Nickle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nickle takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Pendragon misses with a hook. Nickle ducked under it nicely.
Pendragon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nickle! But no joy.

Nickle shoots for a double leg takedown but Pendragon sprawls well. He's pushed Nickle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nickle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pendragon - the referee stops the clock and Nickle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pendragon. Nickle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Nickle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pendragon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pendragon sneaks out the side door and pushes Nickle away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Nickle goes for a double leg but Pendragon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pendragon continues to drive forward.

Well Pendragon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
