Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Scott (ranked 1928 p4p, 1477 weight class) and Komedor DKasada (ranked 314 p4p, 236 weight class). Komedor DKasada has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, David Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Komedor DKasada! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott fails with the takedown. A cross from Scott lands. A swing and a miss from DKasada. Scott wants to clinch but DKasada slips to the side and DKasada counters with a lovely straight right hand! DKasada pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott moves forwards but DKasada connects with a nice, crisp jab. Scott fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A nice side step and DKasada releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott throws a hook but DKasada avoids it easily. David Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from DKasada. Scott moves in looking to clinch but DKasada pushes him off. DKasada throws a looping overhand right but Scott ducks down to avoid it. DKasada looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Scott throws a looping overhand right but DKasada ducks down to avoid it. DKasada doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Scott moves into range and clinches up with DKasada. Scott jumps guard but DKasada turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him. DKasada lands a shoulder strike. Scott tries to throw a body punch but DKasada avoids it by throwing Scott back against the cage. Scott tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. DKasada smiles and moves away.
A telegraphed right hand from DKasada misses the target. Horrible takedown attempt by Scott or perhaps it was just good defense by DKasada, which made it look bad. DKasada throws out a counter right but Scott avoids it with no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott shoots in and drives through. DKasada sprawls well. Scott misses the jab. And an attempted straight right on the counter from DKasada! But no joy. Scott connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Scott misses with a looping right. Scott misses with a looping left. Scott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. DKasada manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Scott slips a jab from DKasada. DKasada fails to land with a series of punches.
Scott is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott staying out of range there. Scott throws an overhand right that lands on DKasada's shoulder, as DKasada tries to avoid the shot. Scott misses with a hook
enabling DKasada to counter with a crisp jab. Scott loads up on a big right hand but DKasada slips the punch. Scott staying out of range there. Scott moves forwards but DKasada connects with a nice, crisp jab. DKasada misses with a looping left. Scott with a poor takedown and DKasada counters with a nice uppercut. Scott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has DKasada pinned against the cage. DKasada gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from DKasada! But no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott ducks down and throws a hook to the body but DKasada moves away. DKasada swings and misses with a hook to the body.
DKasada stalks Scott and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Scott's face. Scott staggers backwards, shaken. DKasada might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Scott misses with a hook. DKasada ducked under it nicely. DKasada throws out a counter right but Scott avoids it with no problem. Scott throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Scott looks to throw the jab but DKasada is out of range. Scott swings widly with a right hand
and DKasada counters with a lovely shot to the body. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Komedor DKasada dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. DKasada throws a wild body kick that Scott sees coming a mile off. DKasada bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. DKasada pushing out the jab but it's not landing. DKasada looks to land a right hand but Scott moved out of range. Scott appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Scott closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Scott lands in his opponent's guard. DKasada is looking to stand up but Scott isn't so interested in that idea. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Scott pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. DKasada is keeping the position for now. Scott controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Scott tries to close the distance and clinch up but DKasada swats him away and circles back towards the center. DKasada is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. DKasada jabs Scott to the body, keeping him at a distance. DKasada has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Scott uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from DKasada. Scott steps to the side to avoid the strikes from DKasada. An attempted straight right counter from Scott misses the target. DKasada misses with a hook. Scott ducked under it nicely. Scott wants to clinch enabling DKasada to counter with a crisp jab. DKasada feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Scotts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's three minutes gone in the round. DKasada waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Scott. DKasada moves away from the strike by Scott. Scott tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. DKasada swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Scott lands a lovely overhand right. Komedor DKasada is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A slow jab from Scott misses its intended target. DKasada is looking for the big counter here. Scott misses with a double jab
and DKasada connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Scott is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by DKasada. It seemed like DKasada was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. DKasada works Scott's body with a nice hook. Scott tries to clinch but DKasada moves away enabling DKasada to counter with a crisp jab. DKasada on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. DKasada scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. DKasada throws a body punch but Scott moves out of range. It looked like Scott wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. DKasada uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scott.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scott misses with a body shot.
Scott looks to score with a jab to the body but DKasada is just out of range. DKasada swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Komedor DKasada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! Scott sizes up DKasada with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Scott looks to score with a jab to the body but DKasada is just out of range. DKasada now looks to counter with a shot at the body. DKasada rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Scott counters with a straight punch to the midsection. DKasada lands a head shot. Scott manages to get an easy takedown there - catching DKasada on his heels. He'll look to pass DKasada's guard now, I'm sure. DKasada is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Scott is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Scott jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. DKasada wants to stand and escape but Scott is having none of it. DKasada is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Scott's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Scott looks to score with a jab to the body but DKasada is just out of range. DKasada stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and DKasada wants it to stay on the feet. DKasada throws a head kick that misses. Scott misses with a left hand and DKasada counters with a one-two to the body. David Scott has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott throws an off balance right hand
and DKasada connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. DKasada scores with the left hand. Scott knows he should have avoided that one. Scott misses with a lunging right hand
letting DKasada counter with a right hand. DKasada stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Scott is rocked! Scott shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and DKasada counters with a huge left! Scott is in big trouble! He's backing up but DKasada isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Scott from any more damage. A dominating finish by DKasada!
