Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Nolan (ranked 1949 p4p, 1422 weight class) and Fedor Osipov (ranked 109 p4p, 84 weight class). Jon Nolan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Nolan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Osipov! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Francis DeMontford and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nolan moves into range and clinches up with Osipov. Osipov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nolan pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Osipov. Nolan tries to circle away but Osipov has him pinned against the cage. Osipov's coach down at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Osipov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Osipov goes for a takedown attempt but Nolan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Osipov with a poor takedown and Nolan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nolan instigates a clinch. Nolan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Osipov is working for takedown but Nolan is calmly controlling the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Osipov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nolan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Osipov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Nolan blocks an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nolan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Osipov. Osipov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nolan defends well and Osipov ends up having to push Nolan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Nolan pushes Osipov up against the cage in a clinch. Nolan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horrible takedown attempt by Osipov or perhaps it was just good defense by Nolan, which made it look bad. Nolan tries to clinch up. Osipov with a lazy takedown attempt and Nolan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Osipov with a poor takedown and Nolan counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Fedor Osipov has been cut. Osipov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nolan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Osipov somewhat. Nolan moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Osipov tries for a takedown. No joy.
Osipov gets a trip takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nolan wants to get back to his feet.
Nolan trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Osipov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Nolan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nolan tries to get out of the position. That's three minutes gone in the round. Osipov lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Osipov misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Osipov controlling the position easily from mount. Osipov has control of Nolan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nolan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Osipov tries to control but Nolan wriggling away. Nolan is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Osipov is in the full mount, landing strikes. Osipov controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Osipov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Osipov raining down shots from the mount! Osipov content just to control the position here. Nolan is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The referee warns Nolan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Osipov lands with some strikes. Osipov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This has been an exciting period of action! Nolan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. You get the feeling that Nolan really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Fedor Osipov will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Fedor Osipov's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Nolan wants to clinch up but Osipov keeps it at a distance. And Osipov tries to counter it with a takedown but Nolan pushes his down on his head and steps out. Fedor Osipov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Osipov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nolan circles away. Osipov fails with the takedown and Nolan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Osipov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Osipov controlling from the top position. Fedor Osipov has got the better of the ground game so far. Osipov trying to control but Nolan is working from the bottom. Nolan can't keep his opponent in guard - Osipov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nolan is trying to stand up here but Osipov is controlling him well. Osipov lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Osipov scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Nolan is staying active underneath Osipov, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nolan wants to get back to his feet. Nolan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Osipov on the ground. Nolan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Nolan is trying to stand up here but Osipov is controlling him well. Osipov lands strikes from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nolan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Osipov. Osipov scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Osipov slips a nice elbow through Nolan's hands, connecting with Nolan's forehead. Osipov landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Osipov throwing shots but Nolan is blocking nicely. Osipov drops an elbow to the side of Nolan's head. Osipov scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Nolan is rocked! Osipov creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Nolan is out cold and this one is all over! Osipov climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Fedor Osipov! A less than humble Fedor Osipov misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
