And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Turner Meeks!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meeks slips a jab and a cross from Abner.
Meeks walks forward, straight into a front kick from Abner.
Abner thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Meeks if he has to take too many more of those.
Abner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Meeks tries to clinch up but Abner circles away and keeps his distance.
Meeks misses with a looping right.
Turner Meeks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abner misses with a two punch combination.
Meeks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Meeks gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Meeks creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Abner blocks an elbow strike.

Abner manages to break the clinch.

It looks like Uncle Abner has been cut.
Abner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Meeks just misses with a elbow thrown towards Abner's brow.
