Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Renoa Gracie (ranked 1229 p4p, 1025 weight class) and Jeong Hoon Chai (ranked 87 p4p, 70 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is Apaga Mas Não Bate. A fine choice. Jeong Hoon Chai has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Renoa Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeong Hoon Chai!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie missing with a left hand there. Chai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gracie connects with a body shot that sends Chai's belly button to the back.
Gracie on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Chai, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Chai against the cage but Chai circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Chai got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chai has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
Gracie controls Chai momentarily but Chai frees himself.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chai can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
